Project Title: Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium – Rocky Shores Sea Lion Exhibit

Description: The Sea Lion Exhibit was built in 1963 and was showing signs of corrosion. Improvements included a two-level aquarium redesigned home for the California sea lions and harbor seals; covered stadium-style seating for viewing the animals and listening to the keeper talks; repair and renewed pool resembling the features of a rocky coastal area; and upgraded salt water filters and general improvements to animal life support systems.
