Description: The new Marian Medical Center Hospital Expansion is a four-story 216,000 square feet patient tower, and accommodates 188 beds, up from the current 132 beds. In the 1970s, when it was built, it was designed for 24,000 patient visits a year, and now it’s double that. The new additions include 132 beds to 188 beds, along with 108 medical surgical beds, a 14 bed neonatal unit, a 32 bed obstetric unit, 14 labor delivery rooms, and 10 additional critical care beds.
