We are seeking a Field Engineer/Entry Level Geologist to join our Clovis, CA team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate interested in geology or civil engineering to start their career in Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Testing & Inspection.
We are looking for someone eager to learn, committed to professional growth, and motivated to contribute to meaningful fieldwork and project support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geological site investigations and provide detailed reports
- Assess geological hazards and provide foundation recommendations for engineering designs
- Perform field mapping, subsurface exploration and lab analysis of soil samples.
- Develop erosion control plans and advise on environmental impact considerations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Geology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering
- Certification: EIT certification in CA preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Skills: Strong interest in California geology, seismic risk assessment, and environmental regulations. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Licenses: Valid Driver’s License with good record (company vehicle provided)

Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 (DOE)
