Krazan & Associates, Inc. is looking to hire a Field-Testing Technician with construction background for our Poulsbo, WA office.
This position is ideal for candidates interested in advancing their career in the Geotechnical and Construction Observation/Materials Testing Field. We are looking for a candidate who have a proven track record, strong work-ethic with a professional attitude. A candidate with construction or soil & concrete experience is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Performing QA/QC field observations while work is in progress following design reports and documents, collecting samples using a gauge to determine moisture density content, and delivering samples for laboratory testing. During the testing and observation process, prepare accurate and detailed documentation and submit daily for review.
Position Requirements:
- Physically able to regularly lift and /or move up to 75 lbs.
- Must be insurable under company vehicle policy.
The following Certifications OR ability to obtain
- American Concrete Institute (ACI)
Certified in radiation safety and Nuclear Density Gauge operation is a Plus.
