Description:<\/strong> This project is a collaboration between multiple entities: Sound Transit, WSDOT, and the City of Tacoma. This is a federally funded replacement of 0.65 miles of track between the Tacoma Dome Station and East M Street. This included the demolition of an existing trestle – feet from a live track currently used for Sound Transit, as well as construction of new tracks and a crossover track, signal upgrades, roadway improvements, utility relocation and erosion control. Additionally we provided geotechnical support for crack monitoring, noise and vibration monitoring, driven piles, soldier piles and MSE wall inspections.<\/p>\n
