Krazan & Associates is looking for a Staff Geologist /Phase II Project Manager who will serve Krazan’s environmental clients’ needs utilizing relevant experience and skills to provide professional consulting services in planning, evaluating, directing and performing the project scope of work. This project manager will also confer and cooperate with senior Environmental Division staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Phase II subsurface soil, soil vapor and groundwater investigations.
  • Performance, supervision and coordination of field activities: drilling, sample collection, well installation, maintenance, destruction.
  • Some out-of-town/overnight travel will be required/typically one- to two-day trips.
  • Work may include remedial system design and implementation, O&M, corrective and remedial action plans, work plans, risk assessments, health and safety plans, etc.
  • Regulatory interface, compliance and closure.
  • Report writing and review.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • BS degree in geology, environmental science, engineering, or other relevant major. PG registration a plus.
  • Two to five years environmental consulting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Sound project business management skills: profitability, efficiency, financial reporting, tracking and forecasting, invoicing, proposal generation, understanding of contracts and agreements, etc.

Krazan & Associates is looking for a qualified Entry Level Business Development Coordinator to support our Clovis, California office. The ideal candidate possess good communication and decision-making skills, is self-disciplined, highly-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to work independently. This is an entry level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Market research by utilizing data bases, client contacts and other resources.
  • Making contact with potential clients.
  • Tracking Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
  • Assist in bid/package preparations
  • Follow up on submitted proposals
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 4 year Degree (preferred)
  • Project budget estimating experience is helpful
  • Familiar with site development and construction a plus
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Power-point, Excel, Outlook, Word and Adobe required
